Some might consider it a landmark in Princeton. I just consider it delicious.
For years, Princeton University students and local residents have been stopping by Hoagie Haven on Nassau Street for a quick, delicious and cheap meal. Hoagie Haven serves both hot and cold sandwiches, including their famous “heart stop” varieties that are loaded with flavor and goodness.
The place is not glamourous but it is historic. The shop underwent renovations in 2003, but still looks like the classic sandwich shop we all love. And the sign? Well, that stayed the same… the classic wooden sign reading “Hoagie Haven” is over thirty years old.

There are several townhomes in Washington Town Center being sold at any given time in this price range. What I like about the area is Sharbell is developing commercial space along Route 33 and building lofts on top of them to provide a downtown feel. Most of these townhomes are only a few years old with many different floor plans to choose from. What’s also great is there are no HOA fee’s . Driving time to Hamilton Train station is 10 minutes with no parking worries since a new garage has been constructed. This area has shopping centers and major highways close by. There are no other townhomes in mercer county that can beat the price and value that you get. Imagine a 3 Story, 3 Bedrooms, 3.5 Full Baths w/ 1 Car Garage under $400K with a top notch school system.
The one shown above is priced at $377,900 Click Here to see Listing

Hello my angels! I have some very exciting news for you. This week, Princeton University’s Triangle Club stages it’s 117th production, “A Turnpike Runs Through It.” This hilarious look at life in New Jersey is a sure-fire hit - last year’s production was SOLD OUT! Buy your tickets now.
McCarter boasts that the show has more “ho-ho’s than Ho-Ho-Kus, plus Triangle’s infamous all-male kickline in which our own Jersey boys pay tribute to the ultimate Jersey girl. High kicks! High hair! Hi-larious!”
The show will only run this Friday, November 9th and Saturday, November 10th and can be purchased from McCarter Theatre’s website. The show starts at 8 pm on both nights. I am travelling for business in Pittsburgh and will miss both performances and I am truly disappointed. So, if you go - please let me know what you think!!
UPDATE: Word on the streets is that the Triangle Club is bringing this production back in May. So if you miss it this weekend, like me, you will have another chance to see it!!

Have you seen that big construction going on off Route 130 near rt.33? I was guessing another strip mall with stores but to my amazement its a massive gym in the works. Never heard of WOW but I’ll have see how this stacks up to LA Fitness, Gold’s Gym, and NYSC. I’m going to guess this will be open by spring time in 2008. So keep an eye for it! It’s on the south bound end of route 130 nearing the cross roads to route 33.
