Looks like a place worth going to! I think Happy Hour and a couple appetizers will give you an idea if you like the place or not. They also serve Dinner as well. It looks like a swanky venue the ones you see in the city but we need your feedback on your experience. Please comment. Thanks!

Well, I have to admit that I have been a busy little bee over the past week or so and haven’t had a chance to get out and experience our beloved little area myself, so I am going to borrow for an expert.
New York Times New Jersey Section reviewer Karla Cook recently paid a visit to the Italian restaurant with an Ecuadorian twist. The location in downtown Trenton is ideal for the lunch crowd, although the owners are looking to increase their dinner clientele. Check out the complete NYT review, or go for yourself and let us know what you thought!!

We ate, I danced, she laughed - we had fun…
Last night, my friend Jill and I checked out the Italian-American Festival at Mercer County Park. As reported previously on this blog, entry was only two dollars and there was much to see and do. Jill and I first stopped by the retail booths. Vendors were selling olive oil, jewelry, Italian-pride branded clothing and more.
Food was our next stop. We each bought a pasta dish from Massimo’s, but there were plenty of other restaurants represented. Jill wanted a cannoli for dessert while I wanted a festival-favorite, fried oreos. Both were delicious!!
We watched some bocce ball, saw performers (a Marilyn Monroe impersonator!), and checked out the rides. The festival featured a ferris wheel, a jumbo slide, swings and many more, although we ended up not taking a ride.
The great thing about the Italian-American festival is the people! We had a few of our friends meet us there, and ran into a lot of others we haven’t seen in a while. The festival will run all weekend, and it is a beautiful day. So get up, get out and go!! For more information and directions, visit the Festival Website.

It’s true ~ it’s time to wear your loose fitting pants and put on those dancin’ shoes… the 8th Annual Italian-American Festival has arrived! You know what that means, don’t you? Lots of delicious food, fun entertainment and bocce ball!!
The festival will run all this weekend, Friday, September 28th - Sunday, September 30th. It is being held at the Mercer County Park in West Windsor and admission is only $2.00. Yes, two bucks!!
Stop on by and enjoy the culture, the food, visit the dancing tent, and enter one of the raffles! I am heading out there on Friday night, so I will be sure to report back on how much fun I had and how full my belly is!
For more information and directions, visit the Festival Website. And no, I am not Italian-American, just a fan and friend to many who are!

Pass the A1 Steak Sauce! No need to go all the way to Edison. This old chain is coming to Hamilton area and I know residents are going to be thrilled about it. It’s going to be open on the corner of Klockner and Rt.130 beside the Home Depot probably in October.

I just ate here and boy I am stuffed. I couldn’t even go for seconds. I had to tell myself not to go back or else I know I’d have some problems during the day. I love Indian food and every so once in awhile I’ll head to Palace of Asia. Having it all the time would mean I’d have to hit the NYSC more frequently. If you love the Chicken Tiki Masala dish like me it won’t be there all the time so try to get lucky - I would say every other day it gets switched with Chicken Korma. Mainly different chicken, lamb, & vegetable dishes cooked in a creamy texture with different spices. For about $14 you can’t go wrong! There is salad, desert, and bread(not garlic naan) to go along with your buffet. Make sure you get there early in the afternoon because it’s hot and just off the stove. Want to review it? Go around the jug handle and you will see the construction for the new TGI Friday’s. Also they put up a Hilton hotel next door for the travelers coming off the turnpike. Now residents wouldn’t have to travel up on to rt. 295 or Quaker Bridge road to get to the TGI’s in Princeton and Route 130 to the East Windsor location. This restaurant should be opening up in the Fall. I try to stay away from the these chains but who can resist the cajun chicken & shrimp pasta.

The long awaited arrival of P.F.Chang’s has finally hit the east coast. As soon as you enter the building their is a sophistocated ambiance. The menu seems to be appetizing but its seems to me your paying more for the scene than the food. If you are a real Chinese food lover i suggest you try Sunny Garden which is located down the street.

Time to cool off in this hot weather and head to Halo pub in Princeton at 9 Hulfish St. The heart of Palmer Square! Ice cream is delicious and in this humid weather you’ll need lots of it (well not too much). If your in the area it’s a definite stopover after a nice meal. If you like the AC than the sweltering humidity then by all means stay in. If you can take the heat there are benches outside next to the ice cream shop or you can even walk towards the center of Palmer Square where you find more benches and open space to sit and relax. If your not from the area the kids will love it or even that first date
